"Senufo Supyire of Mali (SIN-oo-fo su-PEER-ay)"

In February, you were asked to pray for the Senufo Supyire Team to have wisdom in helping families give their children a good physical foundation as well as a solid spiritual one. Join them in giving thanks as they write: “In April, a Senufo Supyire believer in village N shared that her grandchild was sick. We prayed with her for the healing of the child. We had just shared the story of the crucifixion of Jesus and would be sharing the story of the resurrection the next day. The next day, this believer did not come to hear the story, so we decided to go and visit her. Upon arrival, we saw the baby who was sick and knew that she needed help. She was only a month old and hardly weighed five pounds. She was listless and had trouble breathing from a cold. If she didn’t get better soon, she would never grow up to hear any stories from God’s Word. We asked the family if they would like help getting their baby treatment, and they wholeheartedly agreed. Doctors in a nearby town were able to give her medicine, vitamins, and follow-up care. The family followed the doctors’ advice and the little girl seems to be healthy and getting stronger each day. This may only be one out of many children, but that’s one more who could grow up to be a godly young woman. Thank you for praying with us and for us and the Senufo Supyire people of Mali!”
