"Ngabe of Southern Costa Rica and Panama (ing-AW-bay)"

The Ngabe Team writes: “A radio program with chronological Bible stories, Scripture reading, and preaching in the heart language of the Ngabe people was begun in May 2009. God has shown us the first known fruits of this ministry. An invitation was received to visit a group of Ngabe from various coffee farms in the community of Fila de Tigre, Costa Rica. They had been listening to the radio program and wanted L and missionary Bill Egbert to come and meet them in person. Imagine L and Bill’s surprise when they found out that the Ngabe leader of the group was a young man named N whom L had discipled and baptized! Pray for N as he leads the group of approximately 25 Ngabe in Fila de Tigre. Pray that Ngabe from this group will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.”
